Bottlebrush Buckeye (Aesculus parviflora)

Bottlebrush Buckeye is a handsome shrub that has memorable long fluffy white flower clusters in early July. Noted for being one of the best summer-flowering shrubs for shade areas, it is a dense, mounded, suckering, deciduous, multi-stemmed shrub. It is useful as an understory planting in woodland gardens, as a specimen plant, or in a shrub border. Drought sensitive; water in dry periods.
