Creeping Juniper (Juniperus horizontalis)

A low-maintenance, drought-tolerant evergreen shrub perfect as a groundcover, the versatile and hardy creeping juniper has lovely green or blue-green foliage that can take on a purplish tinge in winter. It produces small, round, blue, berry-like cones. It’s great in rock gardens, on rocky slopes, along the edge of a retaining walls or in seaside gardens where salty air can be a problem.

It likes full sun, thrives even during the hottest summers, and isn't bothered by deer, rabbits, most pests or diseases. Adaptable to most soil types as long as it has good drainage. Grows 1.5-3’ tall, 8-10’ wide.
