Goat's Beard (Aruncus dioicus)

If you are looking for a bold statement for your garden, Goat’s Beard may be your answer. A tall (4-6 feet) clump-forming herbaceous perennial, it has late spring/early summer spikes of tiny cream-colored flowers that are reminiscent of astilbe. Goat’s Beard prefers moist, organically rich soil. It prefers part shade but will do well in full sun with consistent moisture. The flowers attract bees and butterflies and it is resistant to rabbits and deer.
