New York Fern (Thelypteris novoboracensis)

New York Fern is a soft, deciduous, yellow-green fern. Its fronds generally are 12 to 18 inches but can reach 2 feet. Creeping rootstock sends up fronds and can form a dense groundcover. New York Ferns provide shelter for toads and are deer resistant.
