Redbud (Cercis canadensis)

One of our most showy native trees, Redbud’s rosy-pink flowers cover the maroon-purple trunks and branches. It attracts early-season butterflies, the northern bobwhite, and various songbird species. It also provides nesting structure for native bees, and is moderately deer resistant.
