Showy Goldenrod (Solidago speciosa)

Showy Goldenrod has a lot to show off. Their pyramidal flower heads do not droop and really do put on a spectacular show August to October. It will do best in average soil moisture and sun. Pairs great with late blooming purple flowers, such as Liatris or Purple Cone Flower. A great fall pollinator with that is only 2' to 4' tall. It can be cut down after blooming to encourage additional flowering. Naturalizes and can be divided. Deer tolerant. Pair with Blazing Star, Black Eyed Susan, Purple Coneflower.
